  • So we all know that Break is dead. Starting to become old news. Reim, however, is acting suspicious. Like he knows something. That, and seeing as how close he was to Break, he accepted his death far to easily.

Reim’s chain power is to convince people that he’s dead, right? Well, what if he could use that power on other people? And let’s just say, if he could, he used it on Break. To protect him. Cruel to Sharon and the others, of course, but if it was to protect Break…

I’d really prefer not to get my hopes up, but another thing I’ve noticed is how much his body has been shown after his death. It’s been 10 chapters and we still see it. Even in retrace 102! (or so I read in a summary)

So, I dare say this… there’s a chance, a CHANCE, that Break might have a chance and isn’t really dead. We’ll have to wait and see, of course.

    • I think that the Will of the Abyss will somehow bring back Break so he can fufill her promise. But I agree with you! Reim is acting so suspicious to me!

    • your theory is good a lot of potential evidence can support it if he is alive then I doubt that he would be as awsome as he was before the courtroom battle.

    • My theory:he was the chain all the time since he had been drowned into the Abyss. In the manga and anime his chain has no certain apperance. Maybe that's because he's the Mad Hatter, created by Will of Abyss to destroy it or the gates leading to Abyss. She was just waiting for the apropriate moment...so he might come back!!!!<3

    • And has an illegal contract with the Will cause she tasted his blood

    • just takeing the blood won't creat a contract, both parties must agree to the contract and the Will never inisiated one nore did Break did one

    • As much as I love Break and as much as I want him to live, he is truly dead. I think Reim was acting very calm because Sharon was completely broken. And with Reim’s nature of being the dependable one, he had to stay calm so that Sharon can continue to cry. And let’s not forget that he also had to stop Lily from trying to tear Break’s corpse into shreds. Between this and that, Reim simply didn’t have the time to get so worked up.

Also, people expresses grief in different ways, you know? Some people needs to explode and let the tears gush out immediately, while some people have to turn their grief into motivation in order to not fall apart. I personally believe that was what Reim was doing when he told Sharon that they need to live on.

Break’s death was extremely depressing, but it was far too beautiful for me to denounce it as a fake. He had fought for so long in this world, I think he deserves to take a rest and reunite with those who he loved in heaven.
